A couple of people have complained about not enough DLC for games, and now people appear to be complaining about DLC too soon. BUZZ! QuizTV released this week, and already has some additional Question Packs available for download this week. Instead of people being excited that they have new content for the game incase they've already "played through" everything that comes with the disc people seem to feel ripped off that this content wasn't released with the game. Nevermind game development seems to be a foriegn concept for most gamers, but that's a topic for another post. Here are the three newly available Question Packs for BUZZ! QuizTV.

It's Rock Band Day, and you can't have Rock Band Day with out new songs to download. 7 new Rush songs and a pack to go along, and then 6 other songs from various artists. I watched a YouTube video of the drum and guitar parts for the YYZ song today and I fully see how hardcore this game is. I would hurt myself if I played this.

People can make fun of Capcom and Mega Man all they want as they talk about just how many Mega Man games there are out there, but you'd be hard pressed to find a gamer who doesn't have a story of the original Mega Man series making them cry. Capcom has listened to the masses as we've begged for old skool remakes of our young gaming days. Ones that made us laugh, ones that made us cry, and ones that made us violent. Bionic Commando: Rearmed was a brilliant idea and now doing a NEW Mega Man title in the same light as the originals means at least somebody's listening. Mega Man 9 is 2D, 8-bit style through and through. Great old skool music. Hard as hell Mega Man game play, and the only gripe I have is that it runs at "SD" resolution. It's actually 1080p, but the actual game only gives you standard definition square to play the game. It makes my 47" HD TV emo to play it, but everything else is absolutely Mega Man! If you played games at all in the 80s and early 90s then you had to have played Mega Man. Relive those glorious days by frustrating yourself to the point of violence with today's release.
WipEout HD has been on the list of "WTF are you waiting for and gimme already" for a lot of PlayStation faithful. There have been PSP releases that have come with mixed reception. The PSone Classic was released for PSN, and with today's release we officially have 4 different WipEout games available for download. For $19.99 there are Trophies, online play, leader boards, 1080p graphics, all delivered a 60 fps! I'm not going to get it just yet, but I anticipate after my wallet and fingers stop bleeding sometime around the first of the year because of all the games releasing in the next 4 months I'll have the time and money. (SOCOM, LBP, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Resistance 2, Call of Duty: WoW, this list never ends!)
As promised, the game that has embraced and possibly redesigned how downloadable content is handled, Burnout Paradise the full game now available at the PlayStation Store! Upon download and install of the game it will update to the latest version including all three **FREE** updates and Trophies which went live today. (64 Trophies!!!) A friend basically pestered me into buying this game back in February so we'd have something to play online and he wouldn't STFU about this game. I finally jumped and got the game spending the "new game smell" price of $60. After playing for a few hours and ripping up some online play I knew this game was worth all 6,359 pennies! (Curse you Uncle Sam and your taxes!) Today the game sells for only half that many pennies and is worth 4 or 5 times more. If you like driving games, online play, games with tons to do, then this $30 is going to entertain you for a long time to come. Get this game, love it, and thank me later.
GEON Emotions as it turns out is a year old XBL game. Personally I couldn't find anybody I knew who has a 360 who's played it. I only find one video online and it didn't make a lot of sense to me at the time. Either way it has Trophies and these days that's all it takes! It's a multiplayer puzzle game from what I can gather, but there's no demo so until I hear from somebody saying this thing is digital pwn, I'll sit back and wonder what the hell a GEON is.
Untold Legends Brotherhood of the Blade is another PSP UMD game being released for download from the PlayStation Store PC. As of late the PC Store hasn't been all that lively, but now it appears things are going to start ramping up. New PSP releasing soon, and it only makes sense to have more content available for download at affordable prices.
To some people Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is crack. It's the reason they have a PSP, it's the reason their PSP never leaves their side. I've come very close on several occasions to picking up this UMD and haven't. IF there wasn't so much to play with released tonight I probably would have picked it up. My PSP has been very neglected as of late and nice puzzler would definitely get me back in the spirit of portable gaming. If you need your puzzler fix, then this may be a worthwhile $14.99 for you.

Buzz! Master Quiz (also available from PS3 Store)
Buzz! Quiz TV has some festive main icons you might find from a flashy game show, but all other icons are stock default icons. The background isn't as crisp as it really should be, especially for HD displays. I've never played this game, and if I could get my friends together for game night again then maybe I'd invest. But it seems like they could have done more with this theme.
Wipeout HD Theme - All Teams #1 is an interesting mix of theme combined with background. This is something the Mirror's Edge theme did as well. With out this wallpaper or one designed specifically for the theme the theme falls flat. The main icons all follow the blueprint like feel of the background, but the rest of the icons appear to be stock. The wallpaper is way too bright for my liking, so I really hope they release other wallpapers - or themes as the name does imply there will be more - that have darker colors not to blind us vampires!
One thing I'd like to see Themes do is adjust the text color and/or font so they're more visable on some of these themes. Default font color is nigh impossible to even see on this and the Mirror's Edge backgrounds.

Both of today's Soul Calibur wallpapers look like they're a month early. They appear to have been designed with Halloween in mind just released in September. If only there were an official Soul Calibur theme to place these.

Well it's time to take to the streets of Paradise City so I can start racking up more Trophies as well as re-doing all of the things I had to delete to start acquiring Trophies. For those who are doing this, I recommend backing up your current game save. You can of course start over to get Trophies and once you've gotten to a certain point copy your old game save back in. Y'know, for some of those more hard to obtain awards that were built into the original game.
