I think it's great that Oklahoma did a great job of hosting New Orleans during the rebuild of New Orleans. I think it's a great nod to Oklahoma to give them their own NBA team since they've proven that they are an NBA city. But naming the team Thunder.... A name often synonymous to storms - like the one that sent Hornets to Oklahoma in the first place - is kind of messed up. Either way you don't want the team left out of your upcoming NBA basketball games so pick up the new team and give them a spin! NBA Live 09 Oklahoma City Pack is available for free and ready to make some noise. Get it? Thunder makes some... oh forget it.
I was never a big Live fan, and for some reason basketball games didn't seem to translate so well for me. Either way I know a lot of people how all Live all the time. Well this week have NBA Live 365 available for $20, and I'm not entirely sure what the hell it does. My understanding is that it downloads daily stats from around the NBA and some how ties it into the game. I don't know if this is a glorified means in which to keep the rosters synced to best of the game's ability, or does it just give you a way to play the Rockets during last season's 22 game winning streak. Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 Firestone Country Club brings with it a new course that has tested many a PGA golfer for years currently is the host of the World Golf Championships. If you're a golf fan as well as a Tiger Woods PGA Tour fan this $7.49 will likely be a must have. I've already talked to a friend of mine who has told me for at least the 40 billionth time to buy this game and now download this course. I'll stick with Hot Shots Golf, thank you very much!
This time around Soul Calibur has really gone the extra mile with customization and weapons. Today we pick up two weapon packs, each $3.99, and each adding their own thing. Now before you buy these keep in mind all of these weapons can be unlocked from playing the game through but where's the fun in that, huh? So for the impatient few, or like me just aren't always that good at fighting games, drop the $7.98 for both packs and have at it!

Rock Band Thursday, and today doesn't disappoint as usual. It's all about the Chili Peppers! If I had any music talents and bought Rock Band I would buy the entire Blood Sugar Sex Magik album that's available for $19.99. Each of the songs are available for $1.99 each, but personally I'd have to have all of them. I may have to convince a friend of mine to get these so I can try them out. Hmmm....
Demos
It's been a long day and I've spent all day working on various projects so I'm not going to be playing any of these demos probably until Sunday. That being said I am excited about the Bioshock demo, and it'll be nice to check out Eternal Sonata. So you guys enjoy and if I get any emails commenting on any of these I'll make sure to update with their impressions.

No PS3 games but a few PSP games available for download.
Untold Legends the Warriors Code looks like several parts Maximo and a few parts Golden Axe. All the reviews I was able to find weren't very favorable, but for a $15 price tag you may find something like this fun while riding the bus or train to work.
I'm not sure what the point of Work Time Fun is, but I just love that it flat out has WTF!! on the front of the game. It's nearly worth buying for that alone.

Themes
Iron Man Movie Theme makes sense to go along with all the releases for the movie's Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital copies. However the theme itself is pretty "blah." The main icons are screen crops of scenes from the movies. All other icons are generic black icons that don't seem to fit with the movie or Iron Man. No metalic iron icons, or different Iron Man suits. Just a background with quickly thrown together icons. A nice Iron Man sound would have been nice as well, but are left out along with an actual theme.
